Because they’re too nosy and love to know what’s going on with our love life. They’ve never heard of personal space you know? Your life is your own and if you want to keep your r’ship status private then that’s your business and other people don’t need to worry about what you are doing but just respect it. It’s your own prerogative anyway. Sorry it’s lengthy, I’ve always thought about this too actually.
